WTF IS 549?

fivefournine is a DIY independent record label and webstore founded in the world renowned Tannery Apartments in beautiful Elkton, Virginia. Originally started in order to self release the music, merchandise and artwork of it's founders; it has gone a step beyond what they inititally envisioned and became something greater. 

We aspire to bring local Virginia musical acts, artists and authors to an audience larger than just the people that live down the street. We do this without comproming on our ethics and morals while at the same time encouring and supporting our artists, wait, scratch that - every fucking person out there to do the same.
